Powder Coating

Durable, corrosion-resistant finishes for industrial, commercial, and custom metal
projects – with large-capacity ovens most shops don’t have.

A Better Finish for Metal That Has to Perform

Powder coating is a finishing process where dry powder is electrostatically applied to a metal surface, then cured in an oven to create a hard, uniform finish. It’s significantly more durable than traditional wet paint – more resistant to chipping, fading, rust, and corrosion – making it the preferred choice for structural and industrial applications.

At Lima Powder Coating & Metal Coating Company, we’ve been finishing metal since 1936. Our batch oven system – including a 40-foot oven – allows us to take on large-scale structural components, oversized fabrication runs, and specialty projects that many powder coating shops simply can’t handle.

Pricing for powder coating is quoted per project based on size, complexity, and surface preparation required. We direct all customers to request a quote so we can give you an accurate number – not a ballpark that surprises you later.

What Sets Our Operation Apart

Large-Capacity Batch Ovens

With multiple oven sizes – including a 10′ × 10′ × 40′ oven – we can process oversized industrial parts, long structural members, and high-volume fabrication runs that exceed the capacity of most local shops.

Industrial & Structural Parts

Platforms, frames, housings, railings, stairs, diamond plate, brackets, and panels – we handle the heavy-duty fabrication work that demands a durable, professional finish.

Surface Prep Icluded

Proper prep is critical to coating adhesion and long-term durability. We offer glass bead blasting, steel grit blasting, and chemical stripping to prepare surfaces before coating.
