Powder coating is a finishing process where dry powder is electrostatically applied to a metal surface, then cured in an oven to create a hard, uniform finish. It’s significantly more durable than traditional wet paint – more resistant to chipping, fading, rust, and corrosion – making it the preferred choice for structural and industrial applications.
At Lima Powder Coating & Metal Coating Company, we’ve been finishing metal since 1936. Our batch oven system – including a 40-foot oven – allows us to take on large-scale structural components, oversized fabrication runs, and specialty projects that many powder coating shops simply can’t handle.
